here is some information about TB change on my 3.0 in Audi Sewickley, PA.
tooth belt --$84
roller -- $66
lever -- $162
water pump -- $68
thermostat -- $ 51
gasket(2) -- $72
roller --$66
cover(4) --$9.2
hours --7.5
rate -- $95
free loaner car
total = 620 (labor) +579 (PART) + 84(TAX) = 1283

looks like a fair deal to me. Another audi dealer also quotes this job about $1300 range.
But some members recommend Sewickley and that's why I rather spend 30 minutes extra driving.
car so far so good. of course can't feel the difference before and after. only one dissatification is that a plastic cover
sitting rightside to the engine protects windshield cheaning water tank or whatever is not well installed back i guess.

My 3.0L has 73k miles now, going to do it pretty soon, too.

Just got mine back this weekend. $1231 including tax, done by Deal Motors, Audi dealer and where I bought the car.
