Hi There
I have just bought a 2004 Audi 2.0ltr TDI today and am very pleased with it. Or was.
All seemed great and i was playing with the climate control which seemed to be working fine all nice and cool.
Came back to the car an hour later and just cannot get the air con to give me cool air. Fans speed up things seem to happen but no cool air now. I have a bit of Audi warranty left on the car and have checked all the fuses. Am I missing something and being stupid as a new owner or is it an early visit to the dealers for me on Monday?
Is this a common fault?
Any help please
Regards to all

As long as you're working the air conditioner correctly and don't have in on economy mode, which disables the air conditioner, then I would take it back under warranty. No need to screw with anything other than fuses and simple items when a car is under factory warranty.
Have you chipped the TDI yet? Those things get monsterous torque with an ecu upgrade. Can't wait until Audi brings those powerful TDI engines to the States.
Cheers!

Agree to check it is not on economy mode. Also give the climate control sensors some time to read the cabin temp. Mine takes ages and it sometimes quite annoying as I drive in a boiling car for 5-10min before the cool arrives, when it does though, its very powerful. I also found that even on manual mode, the system still relies on the sensors.
