Does any one know if the A3 3.2l coming to the u.s. will have a manual anytime? I have read that its going to have Audi's DSG automatic transmision. What is so good about that, I really dont understand it.

DSG technology is a peach and leading the way. Go to Audi's official webpage and you will get all the technical jargon...brilliant and do not hesitate to order an A3.

The dsg is basically an automatically controlled manual, but it has two input shafts instead of one. That equats to extreamly fast sequentical shifting because two gears are engaged at the same time. Only one is sending power to the output shaft thou. Then when it wants to shift one clutch turns off while the other one turns on.

I got the same info at my local dealer.
They said they ordered it and will be there in January.
I've already asked to put me in the waiting list of test driving!
