Considering a 2007 A3 2.0 DSG with S-Line package and I have a few questions:

1.  Is it possible to get a power driver seat with the S-line package?  It seems as if the S-line and Premium packages are mutually exclusive and if you get the former then power seats are not available (even as a stand alone option).

2.  Is it possible to install a roof bike rack with open sky?  If so, do you need the Audi roof rails to install a roof bike rack, or can it be done with "towers" alone that come with the racks?  Do you need to use an Audi factory rack to make this work, or will Yakima or Thule racks work?  Any pictures of other A3s with roof racks would be greatly appreciated.

3.  Are there known plans for a 2.0T quattro for 2008?  If so, I might wait for that combination.

Thanks very much for your help.  Apologize if these are well treaded questions; just joined the forum.

Concerning the seating: yes, mutually exclusive.  With the addition of a lumber support in the premium package.

Dunno the answer concerning racks mounting with rails or towers.

I haven't heard any information re: Quattro and the 2.0T.  I tend to doubt it as it would, to me, make the 3.2 Quattro rather pointless.  A chipped 2.0T would nearly put out as much power, and the 2.0 is lighter than the 3.2.

There are only two A3 rumors currently: S3 which has Quattro possibly coming to states, if sportback, then 3.2 Quattro is toast! A3 Cabriolet is a another possibility for 2008. Since Audi USA seems to lag on new releases, you probably won't see either.

Update: current the only 2.0T Quattro in Europe is a 6M, possibly for 2008 they will have a DSG model. The A3 Cabriolet is indeed coming in Europe and will be displayed in a future auto show.
