Hi guys
Ok the audi is:
A4 Avant
1.9tdi
1998
And to make things a little more difficault i live in the UK (so everything is probably backwards) ;-0
My problem is that whist driving this morning the indicators suddenly stopped working. The sysptoms are:
No turn signals at all or even occasional flashes
No hazard lights at all
However:
When setting the alarm the exterier turn signals flash once as well as being registered on the dash display (as normal)
When parked if the parking lights still work (when the indicator arm is pushed wither up or down)
I immediatlly checked the fuse which is fine, so i have guessed it would be the relay as i cant hear it clicking anymore does this sound right and if so where actually is it - i have found a cluster of relays under the steering wheel with white numbers on is it one of these and if it is which one...
Thanks for any help with this as im a little bit stuck with what else to do.

prety common fault thr relay is the hazard switch so you need to replace it

Hi, I was hoping to get some info on my relay-related question.
I have a very similar car: A4 Quattro Avant 1998 (2.8 l engine).
and I saw techbod's earlier post with an attached photo with relay schematic:
RE: HELP - Need a wiring diagram for the starter circuit - 2/23/2007 10:33:33 AM
I was wondering if you could help me out: I've been trying to find the schematic for the relays (like the techbod's diagram, but with the list of relays for each position). My specific concern is: position 3 on my relay board is empty, and I am not sure if there should be a relay there (and if yes, which one).
Thanks. I appreciate your help and time.
