Alarm goes off at random

I have a 97 A4 1.8T and the alarm goes off whenever it feels like making some noise. Middle of the night, middle of the day, anytime it feels like making me go out there to turn it off ( short range on my clicker) Anyone have any ideas of how to stop this from happening?
