I have a 2001 Allroad that has a vibration noise from 35mph to 55 mph. It isn't wind noise, very loud, especially after warming up. Anyone offer suggestions. The dealer is trying but no luck yet

Is it a vibration you can feel? If so, where do you feel it? In your feet? In your seat? In your hands on the steering wheel? Can it be felt more in one seat better than another (don't forget the back seats)?
If it's more a noise, then where do you hear it coming from more? The front of the car center? The right? The left? Under your seats? In the back? Have someone move about the car while listening to the noise - they can comment on where they think it is louder or more obvious. You will need to get this sort of "triangulation" of it's origination to be more accurate.

Hey
My family just picked up a 2003 Allroad, 2.7 T.
We have also found there is a slight vibration, but its more in the 2.5 -3.5 k rpm range. And it seems to be located behind the center console, to the right side near the passenger seat. Is this a common thing in allroads? Should we ditch ours?

i have had my new allroad now for about 6 weeks and seem to have a strange noise when turning 75% full lock left or right, from stand still, dealer says ok..but they would, but very strange and not to happy about it...also when in reverse high pitch wine..anyone had same fault???
has anyone got any nice mods that can be done, without large costs???
