also, maybe an FAQ that details the workings of the forum.  I'm sure most people are familiar with the layout, but for those that may not be.

oh, I'm not too knowledgeable at the workings of a web site, but a feature that changes the color of the text of the posts you have viewed?  I'll keep adding as I come up with ideas.
