Hello. I just bought a 2004 S4 last Saturday. I have always been very active in car communities and am looking forward to learning as much as possible about my Audi.
Quick question:
My dome lights don't work and they say that it's the "comfort control module" and that it would cost about $550 to fix. It seems like the dome lights are the only thing not functioning correctly and $550 is not worth it to me to fix. What else is this "comfort control module" supposed to do?

welcome and i have no ideas what the comfort control module does, but I would imagine it might just be a fuse or bulb or something simple like that

I tried all that stuff (fuses, etc.). The audi dealership ran diagnostics and said that the "comfort control module" was the problem. The dome lights, reading lights, visor lights and the trunk lid light don't work. Everything else seems to be fine.
