Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and newer to Audi. I just bought a 2002 A8 which is just beautiful. I am now reading the owners manual and am finding that all fluids suggested for the car are unfamiliar to me. Does anyone know what readily available fluids are compatible with the Audi manual recommendations. I hate having to go to a dealer for such stuff as coolant or brake fluid.
Any suggestions?

well sorry to inform you but for coolant you need G12 and its only available at the dealer try the VW dealer same stuff but a few bucks cheaper.

Welcome to the world of Audis, they are great cars. Yes, the coolant has to be G12, but if there's no leaks you won't need it very often. I think brake fluid is standard DOT 4. Find a car parts store that stocks foreign/german car parts, maybe NAPA or some other.
