I installed the blacked out sline grill a few days ago. The swap of the grill is pretty straight forward and for first timers will take about 2 hours to do. If I were to do it again it'll take me less than an hour. Looks wise the grill is great. Its real stealthy. I also decided to paint the filler plate gloss vinyl black to give the grill a two piece look which works beautifully. Here's some pics!

Edit: found another pic on my digi. I got this because the other cupholder by the e-brake sucks!

Where did you get the grille?

Also, is your car black or lava gray? Hard to tell from the pics.

www.ecstuning.com they have limited stock so order quick. Also, I'm not a fan of any astetic mods but the grill was definatly worth it.

My car is black in color

Do you think it would look good on a lava grey?

How about taking the chrome one we have (stock) and painting it lava grey, or something close to that color.
Suggestion get some electic tape (black) and tape the perimeter of the grill, and see what it looks like?

my paint on my black grill is starting to chip off, i was too lazy to primer the chrome before i painted it, so this week, my project will be sanding off the paint, primer, then repaint it again.

Hey Nam, why not take it to a body shop and have them paint it for you, it might cost you 40 bucks ?

just put mine in myself this weekend, stupid audi didn't get me the right badge though so i had to basically cut/sand the whole back of the badge down and then superglue it to the grille. good thing is it looks just like urs though :D
