i just got my new rotors in today, and ive had new pads for the car for about a month, and finally im gunna put them in on thursday. i got zimmerman cross drilled and slotted, and ebc green stuff pads. i kno the basics on how to put a new set of breaks on the car but i was wondering if there is anything audi specific i should kno. i havent found a good DIY on putting them on so im assuming thats its pretty much the same as every other car, but any tips before i get started would help.

I think this looks like a good DIY:

Some reason why you wouldn't point to a DIY on your own site?

are you doing the front or rear? the front is basically like any other car. the rear, you need a 8mm allen to take off the caliper bracket so the rotor can come out. that's about it. have fun, it shouldn't take very long after you've done one side

Yep - front brakes on this car are some of the easiest brakes I've ever done.

cool thanks for the help everyone. so it seems like im just gunna be able to do this one without having to study some new method haha. and it helps im doing in w/ my buddy whos ASE cirtified. now...one quick question, in the pic from vwvortex they showed a pad that has that little claw on it and said its for the back. i have that and im only doing the front, does that mean their the wrong pads?? or do i just take that little clip off or something?

no the rear pads shouldn't have any claws on the back. the front should have 2 pads that have claws, they're both the inner pads.

The pad with the clip on the back, snaps into the opening of the brake piston.  The pad without, hangs on the carrier frame.
