Hi Everyone,
I recently received a call from my Audi dealer stating my brake fluid needs changing as my A3 is now 2 years old.
He said it wasn't linked to mileage (currently I'm only up to 11000) and no warning is given by the car's computer. Since I only had a service in December, it is a tad irritating that this apparently needs doing now.
So...has anyone else received this type of 'courtesy call' from Audi?

I don't have my A3 yet (June delivery) but I do own a Porsche Cayman S and they have a two year service cycle on brake fluid. Actually, after tracking the car I did a little research and found that everyone should replace the brake fluid every two years (sooner if you rely on your brakes at a track). Brake fluid will absorb moisture which can lower the boiling point of the fluid and cause corrosion. It's not very hard to DIY as long as you have a friend to assist you.

I had my car in for a normal service right at 2 years and they did the brake fluid too. Sounds like you have a dealer with extra time to fill service bays with cars and charge Audi. LOL
Cheers!
