hello iam new to this forum and iam intrested in buying a 1996 audi a4 with 72000 miles on it for my daughter would like to know what you folks think of this car its reliability its longivity or basically your opion on this vehicle thanks for your time and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey welcome to the forum. Around that mileage the car is going to need it's timing belt, water pump, idle pully, etc changed. This is an expensive procedure - $500-1000 bucks. The belt must be serviced as we have interferance engines. Older Audi's tend to be higher maintenance than say a honda or toyota, so expect to pay a bit more for repairs.

hi ..i have a little bit problem..i am getting A4 Qtr 1.8T 2002  76.500 miles ..they were asking about 14.500$ but i am gettin it about 13.000$ ..engine chek light is no on? i did driving test its like little havy? i am so scary when i readed to audi forum..what i have to chek before i am getting this car tonight?any one help me pls..
