Well I just got a 2004 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro Coupe. I like it alot, but I am looking into putting spinning wheels on it. some people find it's tacky, and so do I, if it's on a car that doesnt deserve spinning wheels (I saw a cavalier with them the other day). I like the look of them, and on a classy vehicle they are sick. I was unable to find spinning wheels for the Audi though. I have a 225/40R18 tire, so I need 18" wheels and it just seems that spinning wheels arent made for this model.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get spinning wheels, and approximately how much they'd be?

you're posting in the wrong section.. post this in off topic or in the TT section.

well what do you need in order to justify spinning rims? A porsche is too classy, a lamborghini is above them, a Cavalier is below them......so I figure an Audi fits right in the middle, with classy and speed, yet not a millionaires car.

So what would you put spinners on then?

nothing.....cause im not an idiot lol...but honestly spinners, have a place...a very small place in some SHOW cars....like theyre not gonna be driven but are just show/concept cars...even then its kinda silly and outrageous....so no, they dont belong on an audi.....if you insist on putting on spinners, i gotta ask how old are you?

You can put spinners on any kind of car. What you need to justify spinners is not any certain class of car, just a car owner with no sense of style. It helps to have low brain function too, apparent because not only did you hijack someone elses thread, the thread hijacked had nothing to do with what you are asking AND it is in the wrong forum. Sorry, just call 'em as I see 'em.

Heres your chop. Front end was a bit high, wasn't it?

Well even though it was not the most constructive criticism I've ever received, it was still good info. It was just a thought I had.

What about a Chrome wheel. Now is there a certain style that fits the Audi? I dont like the wheels on it right now, and I want to change them. Maybe someone can help me out and chop the Chrome rims on my car.

Sorry for mentioning spinners. a simple "no spinners" would have sufficed, but the point was taken. Thanks for your help guys

mhmm well were here to help err chrome is a bit blingy imho, but some do look nice with the right style, personally with your car id find some nice black wheels witha polished lip, it will be showy enough for sure and you can definetly find some light wheels like that too reduce the unsprung weight and help with performance

You are right there Biggsy. There was a bit more heat than neccessary there. I just find spinners so appalling. I admit that I think that they are cool in a cheesy sort of way, something to put on a toy. (and not a big boy toy, a childs toy) When I first saw them, I thought that they were pretty neat, if I had the gold teeth to go with them. But to take my precious Audi, or any other Audi for that matter, and to cheese it up like that.... I could see it being done, but the first thought that comes to my head when I see that sort of stuff is, "idiot." There is a guy in my neighborhood who has a slammed, bright green '80's Thunderbird with huge rims, always pumping bass. He is always cruising around, pumping the bass... It is a showy car. Lots of bling and actually kinda cool, but first response is always, "idiot."
