I recently had the ECU flashed to the performance mode on my 2003 Audi A4 1.8T. While driving at about 45pmh and i let off the gas, the rpm's drop to 2000, i hit the gas again so i speed up again, the car jerks like its jumping into another gear. i didnt see any codes while using VAG-COM. Is there anyone that is having this problem or has an idea to what the problem could be. 2003

It sounds like its just the extra power...my car jerked like a mother when I was stage 1+..Then when I went stage 3 I could break peoples necks

I brought the car back to the place i got it flashed and they ran vag-com and there were no codes that were before or after the flash.

IMHO, Ive heard sometimes Flashed ECU's do that, thats why it is recommended to like have a break in period for a bout 100 miles (dont rev your car to often and dont drive it hard) so Flash gets "in a contact with" your ECU :)))
Might be your plugs too, cause now u have more stress on your engine.
Check out here, AMZE had some problems with his ECU whe he got Flashed.

I think it is 0.28, i've heard that "The nominal range for the 1.8t is .028-.032 but that differs for some plugs and setups."
By the way, ifu search on forums u will find a lot of useful info
