CEL came back after about 75 miles. Reset by pulling neg terminal on battery. CEL came back in 10 miles. Still showing P1128 at Autozone. Had them reset it and it came back in 5 miles. I started working on removing the 5/16 vac line under the G12 coolant overflow (I've changed 4 other vac lines) which i think runs from the manifold to the vacuum reservoir hidden in the wheel well. So, as I broke it loose it made a hissing sound, which to me is good news when looking for a leak. That tells me "no leak" because the line was either under pressure or vacuum. I've blown propane all over the engine compartment from my little benzomatic, I've sprayed carb cleaner all over every friggin line in there, and I haven't heard idle speed changes which might indicate leaks, where hydrocarbons were sucked in and burned. I've "cleaned" the MAF by removing the big hose (TIP?) and spraying MAF Cleaner into there.
No drivability problems, but for the first few miles after I unplugged the battery and reset everything, it ran poorly, and I thought it might stall at stop signs, and when I stepped on it there seemed to be a little hesitation, but that has gone away now. After reset by autozone VAG it didn't have such symptoms and runs "fine" now.
