Hello guys,
I have the check engine light on, so I went to autozone in oder to have the code.
So it is P1198, and my car is an 98 2.8 Quattro with 94k miles. The guy said to me it could be the O2 sensor or an electrical connection. What do you think ?
What is the cost if it is the 02 sensor to an audi dealer ?

you mean the 02 sensor right?

Yes sorry :) (O2S Heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 electrical malfunction)

Actually the ligh goes off after a couple of hours ... I do'nt know what happened !!

P1198: Oxygen sensor heater electrical malfunction (post-converter sensor, bank 1)
if the light went off then it is fine, but it sounds like the heater is having issues heating up the 02 sensor.
