Guys,
I'm having problems with my Convenience close/open feature...

Just got my '08 2.0T last week from the dealer and it was working fine when we tested it in the lot before leaving but I tried it again for the second time this morning and it's not working at all...

From reading the manual, it appears i'd have to re-initialize it if I ever disconnect the battery but I havn't touched it since. Nonetheless, I've tried applying the re-initialization process anyways but that didn't help...

Any ideas?

Could you elaborate on what the issue is? Are you talking about windows? Locks? Something else?

WHen you forget to close any of the windows when you get out of the car,

feature allows you to stick your key in the driver's side door and turn it and the windows are suppose to close automatically

pretty standard feature on most Volks and all Audis...

I got confirmation from the dealer that it wasn't working..bringing the car into service next week..10 days after deliveries....sucks!

They probably just have to re-enable it with Vag-Com. Maybe someone at the dealer unhooked the battery for some reason while they were prepping it for pick up.

I close and open all the windows by holding pressed for a few seconds the remote on the car key!!I thought that was a normal "audi mode" for all models!give it a try!!

This does work on all Audis, but it may have to be enabled through Vag-Com. From what I understand, this option is diabled from the factory on all A3s. I know some cars have come with it enabled from the factory though, particulalry some B5 A4s.
