Apparently, fear of running out of gas and the fact that the other leaders who passed by her switched tires at their last pit stops really gave them the edge at the end of the race.
Them Ricer Engines did really well.

LOL - you guys are retards. Danica Patrick is freakin amazing driver. Any woman that makes it to the circuit has my full respect. Maybe she will win, maybe she won't.

Agreed.
Aside from a 120BPM heartrate at the prerace physical (which is quite normal), she seemed pretty focused.
After getting on the cover of SI, being written up in all major news magazines/papers, placing 4th at the Indy, getting Rookie of the Year, having an amazing May, and getting crazy sponsorship deals, I'm pretty sure she doesn't EVER have to pose for SWANK. Only if she wants to, I suppose.
Now honestly, are there people on this forum not giving her the respect she deserves because she is a woman? Really. Welcome to 2005.
