1999 Audi A4 Quattro
Engine is a V6, with a 5-speed Manual
Mileage is about 99,000
No CEL’s currently (Check Engine Lights), the stored codes refer to engine computer diagnostics.
Car was stored for the winter and now the battery is dead. Can't get into the car via door because of dead battery.
Thought there was another hood release in the trunk, but can't get into the trunk with the key. Everything seems to be locked down.
I'm in a very remote area so a on-site service call is going to be very expensive. Any ideas of how I can get the hood open so that I can jump that battery???

useing your key put it on the keyhole and turn, no matter how dea teh battery it will open.

So I should just force the key in the trunk keyhole? It wasn't turning so I hestitated to force it too much.
