Hello all.
My experience this weekend has taught me this....
DO NOT paint your lowers yourself if you have a denim blue car. My car is two tone now. Audi paint doesnt match, custom paint doesnt match. Trust me, get a proffesional to do it. Im either forced now to live with a two tone audi or to get a Body kit.
If you have silver or what not , knock yourself out but its hard to get denim blue perfectly matched.
And if youre asking, I did the back lower, saw the color being off and then I was forced to do the front. I left the sides because im not sure if I should even bother now.

Yup, even the pros had a bit of work on their hands matching my denim blue, but they did a fantastic job.
Any paint with a metallic flake in it is a biatch to match.

that's a good job, but you can still see the difference between the lowers and the rest of the car. I guess it's just a tough colour to match.

Trust me, in person you can't.
What you're seeing is the nature of metallic paint... every little curve of light makes the color change.
It's dead nutz on.
