Straight up and down, nothing about me is African. I'm a black man in America, which makes me an American. Simple as that. I don't even fill out that section of stuff that asks "ethnicity" because black is not an option and I'm not African American.

The history of the black race should be studied and revered every month. Why pigeon hole it into one month?

Quite simply, no.

Black History Month always makes us think of the inspirational black people in American history, like MLK and Rosa Parks, but this always makes me recall The Babershop..to quote Cedric the Entertainer: "Rosa Parks didn't do nuthin' but sit her Black ass down!"

Nah yur safe, I think you are overestimating your audience. Intellectualism and history topics are not as popular  on here as much as cleavage pics and the Family Man.

Haha, I have been thinking about this and in my history class we had a (heated) debate on it. I guess my point of view is no. Did MLK and Rosa Parks do great things for our country, yes, but they fought for equality, how equal is having their own month.
 
Ohh and you'll love this one, in my school they did a cake party for african american studens with 3.0+ GPA. Now i have above a 3.0 and i dont get ****. How equal is that.
