2000 1.8T 5 speed manual
Sorry for the camera phone pics, but i can't convience myself to buy a damn digital camera
I got this gem for $9,000 with 119,000 miles on it. It already has H&R lowering springs, TSW wheels, and the sport cloth interior (my favorite
)
The wheels are brand new that the used dealer put on, but they forgot the damn centering rings so the car shakes the fillings out of your teeth above 60 mph
Im not sure if im gonna keep them though, so if you wanna make me an offer.......
One of the rear deck speakers were making some noise so i took off the rear shelf and found that the cones on the speaker had come loose, so i super glued those back on, good as new baby.

The S4 is going to my roommate, he finally got enough money to pay for the bad boy. $20k.
Im not quite sure what im gonna do yet, first things first, the clutch is about toast so thats gonna be done first.
Since California emmisions tests suck balls im not sure i wanna do a full turbo set up and take it off every 2 years to pass emmisions
On the other hand i hate eliminator turbos with a passion, so i haven't made up my mind yet.

imo, seems kinda pricey. I paid 7.2k for my 99 b5. not even 100k on the clock when i got it, and it has full zaust, lowered, 20% all around. Nice car though!!
yeah for the problems you've had with it so far I think you've overpaid a bit. Knowing this, you should take it back to where you bought it and ask them to redo the wheels properly

Im not tripping about the money i paid for it, do a search on auto trader in california, you can only get a 2.8L automatic for 7k here, hell it took me 6 months just to find a good 1.8T A4.
I think i'll take car of the centering rings, i don't think the guys in thier tech bay speaks a whole lot of english, nor knows what centering rings even are.
The wheels are starting to grow on me a little bit too.

why did you get an A4 and sell your S4?? it almost seems like a down grade.....9k does seem like a lot for a car that has 119k miles on it. i bought mine 3 years ago with 55k miles for only 11k...
anyway, i like the wheels i think you should keep them. what size are they? 18s??

Yeah its kind of a down grade, but $450 a month for a car payment, $200 for insurance and about $300 a month for gas = gotta GO!
The A4 is paid off already, and my insurance is only $85 a month for the same coverage. My stress is down, so my morale is UP

yeah i guess its worth it in the long run! man....i wish my insurance was $85 a month, i pay $185.....
