hey from Boston, MA.
Just bought a 2001 Audi S4 2.7T 6sp, grey, leather, all options. Had it two days and absolutely love it. Last car was a Peugeot 405 Mi16, and all I can say is what an upgrade. Love the 30V engine in this car, despite it's horrible mpg atm.
Thinking of getting an APR chip in a few months, once the novelty of the 250bhp wears off. Going to be a hard choice on what to get, what to leave (intercoolers, exhaust, turbos, intake).
Time to start reading some of these posts!
already had some help with figuring out how to scroll the dash options (mpg, miles left, avg speed etc). thanx
see ya

Hey,
I got these pics, they're off the lot - I haven't taken any of my own yet.
As you can see, the S4 in it's original condition, and unmodified.
wow, what a nice car you have there. Now..

im jealous
Take care if it.

Hey, thanks...
I'm planning on an APR chip in about 3-4 months, want to first get my taste of the factory specs. Along with that, may consider a cold air intake, and APR intercoolers. Seem to get the most out of the chip with those 2, want that nice cool air flowing in :). Near the end of the year, depending on finances :P I'll look at some other mods, exhaust and clutch are most likely, I'm a little concerned about catbacks and passing emissions etc. I'm not 'one of those people' that can get a sketchy inspection sticker. Don't think I'm ready to drop the stage III bomb on this thing yet haha...
Only thing I've noticed is a small whirring noise when turning the steering wheel into car parks etc. On cold days (car was garaged previously so maybe didn't notice). From what I read on here, could be the P/S fluid, or maybe some lube needed somewhere. Any suggestions? Is this common for an S4 of this age?
