fresh paint

sooo i took the liberty of two toning my car the other day when the humidity was down..i used chromasystem european super jet black ..the cars coming along nice and im still in the process of repainting the front bumper from when i recentley shaved the washer caps off of it. let me know what you guys think

interesting, but the black looks foggy, do u have a clear coat

take the blakc all the way down on the trunk, or at least to the bottom of your tail lights...

the back looks like a checkerboard..  strange to me...

Yeah, may as well do the whole trunk lid.
 
And the tails are waaaayyyyyy to dark, serious cop magnet there, might want to replace those or tone them down.  They dont look good so dark, IMO.
 

its foggy because i havent finnished wet sanding the clear yet and polish the whole thing up its been wayyyy to hot out.. and as far as the tails go there perfectly legal in my state and ive never been bothered about them. =]

thats cool, it doesnt matter if its legal or not, they still dont look good.

You sure those are visible at 1000 feet? Being that dark I highly doubt it.

Had to hop in on the tail lights. Those tail lights are likely to be BARELY visible at 500 feet. Now consider it should be twice the distance and PLAINLY visible. If you really believe those are legal you should ask Santa for a motor vehicle law book.

I dunno whats the deal, i think he asked for opinions didnt he? If you dont like advice on things dont be on the forum. Id rather avoid a ticket if i could, maybe its because i dont like paying any more money then is required to the government? Check the tail lights or not, just worth  worrying about if they are that dark, someone may not see them clearly and ram the back of your car.
Car looks good otherwise, i think you would get a new front bumper to set it off, maybe the s4 bumper etc.

Hmmm, maybe if I rear-ended him because of his illegal tails, then I could get a new S4 bumper for my car! CT isn't that far of a drive...

BUT, it's your ride. I'm sure we all have idiosyncrasies with our vehicles that may not appeal to others. That's what makes them our rides.

To assume that we are all a bunch of d-bags is quite amusing. Especially when an officer of the law chimes in on your tail lights. Frankly, that to me, is disrespectful.

idk guys im keepin it real i dont want my car to be like anyone else's which is why everyones car on here is their OWN car.. and as far as the tails ill keep em till i get screwed for them like my tints!!!

paint looks really nice as well as the tinted tails.... if it was my car id take the black down the trunk but like you said its yours (obviously)

IMHO, the black kinda kills the lines..  props for doing it yourself though and stepping up and trying new things
