Wheels look good. Headlights, not so much

Tinted tails are a bad idea imo. It reduces the chances of people behind you seeing your brake lights, especially during the day. Sort of dangerous, but you can just call me "party pooper."

did you paint the calipers when on or off the car?, what do u think the easiest way is?...and what did you clean the calipers with before painting....what paint did you use?

i meant you should see mine in person lol they're bright compared to others. all my friends tinted their tails too and you can barely see their tails, but i only did a few light coats. in the sunlight it actually has a slight red tint to it

ok so this idea popped into my head. i was lookin at the car and the whole thing is black and it has the red accents on the wheels and the calipers are red so i was thinkin of changing the front or back (or maybe both) rings to red also. but i would have to see how it looks first, before i wana try it. can anyone photochop it and make the rings red in these two pics? thanks

haha thats an interesting pic. but after seeing it, i dont think it a good idea. i might do the rings on the back since their small but the front i think will stay chrome....hmmmm maybe black rings with a red trim...

Haha, you don't like my pic? Gee thanks, I made that just for you
Fine, you don't like the red? Here's the blue:
Yes, I know there's pattern creases. I'm not blurring them out for you, since you oh so hated the red one

10/16/2007 4:48:00 PM
thats a sweet pic
and i never said i didn't like the first pic, i just meant after seeing the pic i dont think its a good idea to do it to my car, can u chop a pic with the rings black and the trim around the grill red??
Leifer
10/16/2007 5:14:42 PM
Yeah, here's two. One is with the entire grill red, the other is just the trim and a slightly lighter set of rings:
Pic 2
The trim around the red is kinda vibrant; I can tone it down if you want to see what it'll look like when it's subtle. It's just so you can see what it looks like without any additional opacity changes.
