It might be too hot. it could melt the O2 sensor and maybe even the Cat

It was glowing that hot just after i had finished doing a top speed test, so the turbo was on full boost for some time.

How long did you test the top speed? 2 hours? That is way to hot. seriously dont do it again. Go out and buy DEI turbo insulation kit.

I was going for 10 mins, Most turbos do get hot after they have been used on full boost @ 140 mph

I think my camera makes it appear hotter, but after running my car on full boost for 10 mins i think its going to give off a hefty glow! As long as you give it time to cool itself down i cant see any problems, Its very rare for it to glow like that, it only happens when you drive it to excess.

if you have a UK spec A4 how can you measure in MPH. And plus the A4 is limited to + 130mph, from the gear ratios. IZVe driven my car on trips for like 8-10 hours strait at around 120mph never dipping below 65 mph. And it didnt glow like that. It also could be that your K03 doesnt dispearse heat as well as a garret turbo.

UK works in MPH dude we hate KM/H!
I've had mine show about 143mph on the clock which at that speed is about 128-130 in real terms.
My turbo will glow to but not that brightly, it's the picture that makes it look worse than it is.

Actually the US turbos are better than the UK turbos. the UK turbos have plastic turbines. go ahead take a look. they also say "playskool" on them.
