A red, 1995, Audi Cabroliet convertible is now parked in MY driveway! (and its shinning baby) So I hear they only made this car for 3 years.

I'm in the cold northeast of the states, even with the snow on the ground I wanted to show a friend what my car looks like with the top down, and i couldn't get the sucker down. Any possibility it has a sensor that will not go down if it's too cold??

Did it work when you bought it? Other than that is the car: Running, in park(dunno about manual), unlatched? I know it sounds simple and these prob aren't the reasons, but I have made these mistakes in the past, haha.
