The new R32's are frickin' ugly as hell. I liked the first ones much better. Then again, I hate all VW's.

Yes, as I am having some of the same issues as the VW only not near as many. My GTI was a total piece of junk and I bought it brand new. It may be a glorified VW but it's still a step above that piece of crap. I have a couple friends that have VW's and they are in the same boat that I was.
I would rather have a set of rings on the back of my glorified VW than a cheesy little bunny that they are trying to use to increase their sh$tty sales. I'm having such a great day off. Please don't ruin it by making me think about my past pains.

Audi's and VW's are all the same family, like your brothers and sisters, you should love them all.......... or at least tolerate them all, don't have to love them.
i wanna come up to an R32 someday, but there's not that many here in SD.

Think of the R32 as a A3 3.2....afterall that is exactly what it is sans two doors. And we all know a chipped A3 will make a 3.2 a3 look silly, for less money.

Audiman, I haven't run against an R32 but I did match up with a VR6 when I was at WillowSprings raceway. My A3 was faster on the straights but the VR6 always caught up on the curves. I think he had a better suspension and wheels than my stock stuff but when I waved him by on the tenth lap, he immediately lost it and went into the dirt. As for the R32, I think an A3 can hang but at the Dubwars, I saw a couple of R32's at the Streetwerks booth with turbo kits and I don't think any A3 could hang with one of those. PS - last night I duked it out with a Mustang GT and beat him twice from stop light to stop light. We hit about 100mph on Roscoe in the Valley but when we both got on the freeway, he jumped into the carpool lane and that was the last I saw of him. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

T2T, thanks for the info.
congrats on the kill on the GT, i kept behind a Rousch Mustang GT once, it was a one lane hwy, but i kept up til 120mph.

For the 600+ kit, you can almost buy another A3.
