I just bought a 1988 Audi Quattro 90 for $900, so obviously there are problems with it. i have most of them fixed but there are a few that just have me stumped!!!
1st Problem: My over heat indicator keeps coming on even when i just start it up. and the temperature gage does not work. know how it can be fixed?
2nd problem: this car does not like to start in the cold at all!!! and even when it is warm it takes a little persuasion
3rd Problem: My brights do not work(but my low beams work), the gauge cluster illuminators don't work (the little lights that light up my speedometer, tachometor...) and my temperature controle illuminators don't work. this seems like a fuse to me, but i cannot find a blown one(i might not have found all of the fuse boxes)
4th Problem: My mileage meter and my trip meter does not work.
If you guys have any answers that would be awesome!!!!
Thanks soo much

Problems 1,3,4 all sound electrical. Blown fuses or a short somewhere. I'm not sure where to look on that car but I am sure someone here knows. As for #2, I would suggest a tune up, change the oil, and to clean out the fuel system. If the engine turns over ok and you don't have any smoke or noises then that would most likely correct the problem.
