I dunno if this is normal for my 02 a41.8t quatro thats auto and tip or not but this is whats happening on the norm and the steps i take before it happens:
1)i warmed up my car,
2)put my car from park to drive
3)I press on my accelerator and roll a little bit
4)as i tap on the accelerator a little harder for a few seconds moving at about 10mph I hear a small yet noticable snapping or a popping sound for a split second...i also feel it on my pedal, its like i ran over some twiggs and their arent any twiggs in site.
this does not happen during the course of my drive when Im at a stop light and i go from stop to go, only when the car is parked for a bit and i drive out.
I know that my tie rods are bad, could this be causing it or is it a more serious problem? I would appreciate any help thanks all!
