Hello i am new to this forum and need help.I bought a theft recovery 2002 tt replaced the colum ,key,ecu and cluster with used parts instaled everything and the car ran fine except for a few lights on the dash.Now took out the cluster to have it reprogram the milage to match the car ,reinstaled it and now the car will start but stalls. Is the there anything i can do without towing to a dealer an hour away?

scan it with VAG-COM, and see what faults are on.. if you dont have that software, go get it, and if you cant do that then go to Autozone or somewhere that has an OBDII scanner and pull the codes for us

Sounds alot like an immobilizer problem. Once the car starts the imobilizer symbol in the dash should go out(its a car with a key on the bottom of it). If it remains on your going to have to get the keys programed to the cluster.
