hey guys-new here need some advice

hey everyone just joined up i have a 97 1.8t quattro 5-speed.
 
and my 1st gear doesnt work anymore so i need to change the tranny/clutch. was wondering what type of clutch i should get the car is totally stock and i dont wanna overpay for a better clutch if i dont need it... any suggestions???

first gear doesnt work because the synclos broke. =D not a clutch problem! =P

i know that but after a year of  daily driving with no firts gear the clutch is shot--so im changing them both at the same time
