I grabbed some B7 wheels from a member on the 'zine. Split 5 spokes, 17 x 7.5 et 45.  My 16" stockies are 7" et 45. So, I lost 6mm of clearance to the suspension arm which I wanted back.  Stayed after work one night and made 4 of these.  The nice lady at the platers hardcoat anodized them for me.  As soon as I get it back on the ground from my brake recon, I'll post some pics of the car.

pretty impressive.

when i saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be some kid who wanted to save money by widdling his own spacers out of wood or something.  i was much surprised to say the least.

Thanks.  I'm refered to as a Tool and Die Maker, which is sort of an old school term.  Generally, I make parts on a CNC vertical milling machine.  But, I can run other macines in the shop as well.  The place I work at is considered a "job shop" which is to say we don't have a product of our own.  We make parts to the blueprints that companies bring to us.

Yeah man, if you could sell them cheaper for what the major companies sell them for you would be making some mad cash.  I would deff take 4 if your making more.  Those look amazing.

They need to be very parallel and a bandsaw isn't going to get that done.

You will need to use a harder wood like oak or walnut....screw it! just use some styrofoam
