hood

hey this may sound dumb but i wanted to get a carbon fiber hood but i also live in an area that gets really cold and i have no garage. i was thinking of just getting my hood painted black. is this a stupid idea??

I think it depends on the color of your car, but either way, you should plan on painting the roof to match.

Second that.  Silver with a black hood/roof would look very nice (considering that for my car too).

In that case, hell yes. But only if you also do the roof.

It looks good if done right and the roof is done also.  I think it looks best if the center part of the hood is painted(inbetween the 2 creases).
