Have you guys heard of "Formula 1" cars? I raced one the other day, and beat it because my shift times were off the ****ing chain. I dyno'd about a 907hp boost shifting from 1st to 2nd.

haha I beat a Bugatti Veyron the other day in my 12v.
It was stoped at a red light and I was turning left, so when the light turned green and he didn't notice I got through the intersection before he did and therefore won.
Non of this happened, i've never seen a Veyron in person, But my 12v rocks my socks, and it'll go 130 which is plenty fast for me. It is a little slow on the quickness side of the equation though.

lol i literally started crying that was so outrageously funny i almost pissed my pants in the process. and ya Veyrons are slow as hell, I blow by them all the time, all because I myself make supercharge noises and shift perfectly.

wow... lets get some things straight here... my a4 is somewhat quick, despite my screenname. I can "HANG" with my friends stock sti in first gear and thats about it... now, my other friend has an 04 STI with just a download, he walks away from me like nobody's business... and i have a far better planned car than a k03 a4 with a boost controller. Stock STI's are capable of dumping the clutch at redline and having no problems lighting up all four wheels and taking off like hell. no k03 a4 is capable of such feats, especially with the stock clutch. now maybe you can beat a stock wrx, but thats even very debateable.
so we come to "tuning"... elaborate on the "tuning" you have done... you followed a DIY on a diode mod... double sweet buddy.
oh and fyi, higher altitiude equals thinner air... aka, MUCH harder to compress... n/a cars do much better with altitude... also in extreme temperatures, low or high.
i really dont even want to get into the whole "why make an audi faster"... youre right, its a bad idea... thats why theres a multi million dollar aftermarket industry for the 1.8t...

The mustang has been sold, the engine itself going into my Rx7 is worth more than your car, I never called you out so don't give me any ****. 10's at 13x is fast but if that's the fastest a4 out there its very slow in comparison. My summer daily driver will be that running mid 10's and i'm building it for mid-ohio and the pocono's.

Turbo cars are far more effected by altitude than N/A cars. You just lost all believability from me.
Actually bud, go check your facts; you will find you are very wrong.
A little common knowledge about FI and compression will tell you all you need to know. There is less air for a N/A engine to run. Since there is less air obviously less power, however when you run say 10 psi; you're still compressing the air to the same exact PSI you would be at sealevel. While the altitude effects all cars, it has far less effect on FI cars.

yes... dead positive... done it several times in several different sti's... that one obviously had problems, it didnt even sounds like he was revved all that high anyway... but sevaral things could have gone wrong there

that kid has various videos of his car on youtube, he's done 6k clutch drops before and they've all gone well, but that vid shows what happens when your an idiot and think your STI's tranny is gona survive repeated 6k drops. i can do 6k drops no prob tho
but its not the best way to launch
honestly tho, a4's shouldn't even be compared to STI's. two totally different cars built for totally different purposes.

heres a lesson for you...
Air density decreases 3% at each 1000 feet of elevation above sea level. As the air gets "thinner", the compressor wheel must spin faster to maintain the same psi of boost, however, this often makes the turbo run a higher rpm than is efficient, which makes you lose serious power... ever notice how youre turbo stops pulling when you are at high engine rpm... its because its running out of its efficiency range.
