im still cracking up at the people who say they drive 59 mph and 72 mph....wtf option do you have on your a4 or are you just driving the new civics? mine has an analog speedo.

jeez dude, you don't have to be an a$$ about it. we're just reading the analog speedometer. some of us have the common sense to read BETWEEN THE MARKS on the gauge. didn't think it was that hard a concept.

i get like 330 but i shift like 3.5-4, maybe 4.5 if im feelin good or just showin off cuz i drive an audi and im better than anyone else on the road. shifting at 2k are you guys serious? that sounds boring

i think it just comes down to how you drive. you drive like an 4sshole youre gonna get 250, if you drive like my 95 yr old neighbor youre gonna get 400+. which i doubt some of you are really gettin but tell everyone what makes you feel good

Not enough I spend bout $130 a week. I say just around 300.

You do better by engine brakeing, it doesnt take any gas as ideling with the clutch in and the foot brake does.
I get 300-320 in the summer, 250 in the winter, mainly city driving shifts at 3k.

yeah i tried that for a while and got maybe 350-370 average miles shifting at 2k which really dosent even get me into the tourque band, so i said F*** it and went back to shifting at 3k maybe 4k if i feel like being a cock, either way i get about 325 max before i get into the reserve so what ever

i used to get about 425 mpg a few months ago...now im getting about 375 but i always put like 5 bucks extra when the pump stops

My last tank in my S4 was about 275... Once I get it back I will be driving much more conservativly.

I usually shift before 3k rpm''s and get ~350 until the light goes on. not too bad for a v6 in mostly new york traffic

Road trip highway at 80-85mph I was only getting 305 miles a tank, twice. Conservative city driving shifting around 2500, I have gotten 375.

stock engine wise, my last fill up with 91 octane and 14.5 gallons of fuel i got 405 miles.. which is like 28mpg.. thats town driving, hardly any highway.. and i live up a mountain.. im stoked about it
My 1.8T (chipped, 1.2bar) does normally 375 miles on 1 tank (short trips, always traffic jam)

With this latest tank i have averaged 28.5 mpg in city driving... should go 400 miles altogether before i fill up again
