I NEED these tail lights - please help!

I need to get the stock 98+ tail lights for my 97 a4 that are all red with the clear strip in the middle. i HATE the 97 stock with the yellow in them and i've been lookin for the other ones for a while now. E Bay is no help (all altezzas or people selling just one light) and i can't find any catalog site. I've been going so far as to asking people on the street with an a4 if they'll sell me their tail lights for the price of it and i'll give them mine. If anyone knows where I can definetly purchase them, or if anyone is selling a set, PLEASE respond!

Dude I found one of those just the other day online but I forgot where. Mine is cracked and I need a new one. They are $108 apiece. Let me look around for you.

sweet...thanx man, i'm gettin desperate....i cringe everytime i look at them....plus i just cleared out the sides and sidemarkers and i'm puttin these one when the weather gets nicer..

I bought a set of used ones for around a $120. I'd go for the 1999.5 updated ones, not the 98 ones. They are much nicer.

QUESTION - If i purchased the newer tail light lens, would the board with the bulbs in them that I have on my car for the 97 lights work and fit them right?

a set for 120 is a good price, but then you need the bulb holders for each...plus shipping, its like 180 - 200 total best price i've seen

nope, the bulb housings are different. usually they'll come with the taillights, but you never know if you're buying used...you'll also need to do some very minor rewiring. nothing major though, it's well worth it. check my sig, those are the 99.5+ tails, they have a more crystal clear look rather than the older ones which are a little more fogged.
