Default idependent fog lights

okay, i know it says newbie over there under my name, and befor anyone starts verbally raping me,
i have done the search, i searched for an hour last night to no avail-

i know there is a post out there or DIY, on independent fog lights for the b5-

i can prove i did the search 'cause i atleast know the b5 was the last model you could tamper w/ it without the VAG-COM, i also read on a post that evidently the wiring is behind the glove box and requires some soldering-

just lookin' for a little help- like i said thou i did search befor asking -
