I'M MOVING TO ASPEN!!!!!

My company is transfering me to Aspen for my job. I'm gonna move in like 2 weeks. They are paying out my old lease, and splitting the rent up there with me. They are also gonna buy me a ski pass.
Just thought I'd share, because I'm soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!

Sick. How long are you going to be there? Ski pass wont be good till next season. Seems like every year the mountain close on a weekend that they get a 2ft storm.

If I want I can be there at least 5 years. More if we get more work,and it's up to me to get more work. So really I can be there as long as I want.

GRRRRRRRR, I went there this winter, it was great, and I want to move out west. I'm jealous.


also I would like to say Aspen where the beer flows like wine, and also I would like to add... That John Denver's Full of Sh!t.



Good luck with the transfer and all of you CO Audi owners have no idea just how jealous I am when my mind is starting to think about watersports a good month or two before you guys even think about closing the mountain.

i can hold my own pretty well on skis!  i don't/can't do mogels, but if it's groomed, i'll do anything!

I'll host it, but I don't think I will have a have a place big enough to house many people.

I'm going to be working on the Viceroy hotel in snowmass village. I work for RK Mechanical. CSU dosen't tell you much about working for a sub, but I love it. We currently have about $20M of mechanical work in snowmass, but we just bid another $15M. So we will be there for at least another 6 years.
When do you graduate?

if i can find a good place get my work hours done this summer, i should have all my prereqs for the 3 month internship next summer. If it plays out like that, i should graduate spring 2010.
if i can't get that lined up, ill have to do the 6 month internship instead of the 3, which will knock me back a semester.

but it sure sounds like you have it good.  Plenty of work to keep you busy, and its in a resort town no less

Nice, I hear there that the women flock like the Salmon of Capistrano.  I love it in Aspen, been a while since I've been there but I'm sure it's just as nice still
