Easy: Quattro AWD and really big spikes on your snow tires...

Did they build that ramp solely for doing this?

No that is the ski jump that the germans use for training.

They way I look at it is anything that can climb a hill that steep would be able to do the same thing as long as the tires get a grip.
Tire grip is the key and those spiked tires did the trick.

that was pretty freaking cool I mean it made it half way up on regular tires before they switched em out for the snowtires with spikes and that winch
I give it a big high five for that one

Hey, ski jumps are for going DOWN, are they not?
THAT'S what I want to see - the Audi doing a "Eddie the Eagle" thing.

wat was with the cable hooked up to the undercarraige? was it helping out a little or was it for safety. i think it was bogus. being pulled by the cable.

yep the cable gave it away ( it was towed up ) when it got half way up the cable came from under the snow to show it was pulled

i like the other vid where the all road is put up against other AWD systems. alhtough i wish they would also include the EVO and STi and compare it to cars that are also born from rally.
