Just bought a 2007 A4 3.2 quattro. Mods?

Hi I am new to this forum. I just registered today. I recently just purchased a 2007 A4 3.2 quattro. What a beautiful car. I pick it up this friday. I was looking into modifying it. I wanted to know if their are any turbos or superchargers out for the 07 3.2 yet. Or if there were any ecu upgrades for the 3.2. If not what is the best way to spend my money in order to get the most power for money. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks fellas.

I dont think you will see a turbo upgrade for the 3.2 since it is a v6, but someone should have a supercharger out in the next year or 2.

Thanks cincy I'll keep my eyes out for one. As for cyber thanks for no help. I thought I stated I was new to the forum. Don"t appreciate the sarcasm.

Not much you can do to increase power. Perhaps a free flow exhaust.

Not much you can do for 3.2L as far as performance mod.

Not entirely sure if my knowledge conveys to your newer v6. But I have a 96 2.8. I’d say start with a chip and a cold air intake, and free flow, as was said. As far a a huge gain in hp goes a supercharger is pretty much it, as of now.

Sounds like I should have purchased the 2.0t then. Oh well hopefully somone comes out with a supercharger for the 3.2. For now I'll just look for an exhaust to fit the 3.2. Anyone have any suggestions on where I could find a nice exhaust for my 3.2. Thanks for all the insight fellas.

This is great news. Thanks so much for this info. I am going to research them a little more and if everything seems ok with them. Then that would be perfect. Hey socal do you know anyone that has this on their car. If so how do they like it. Thanks again for this info. I was looking to turbocharge or supercharge my car, but I like turbos better so this is perfect.

Sorry, I haven't met anyone who has this on their vehicle, but, for a while now, been thinking about getting this for my Chevy silverado. To me, it's not a cheap mod, but does add good power

nah it's not cheap by any means. The thing is if I bought this for my audi I would have to get it installed because I wouldn't trust myself to put it on there. Also I don't think it comes with everything you need to put it on your car. I would have to purchase an intercooler and then get it tuned. Do you think a tuner shop would install this for me? If so how much do you think that would cost?

I've been searching for a week now and can't seem to find any bolt-on mods for a 2007 3.2 A4. I'm not looking for anything crazy, since my dealer is willing to honor my warranty with certain mods, like a chip or exhaust. Does anyone make a chip for the new 3.2L A4? What about an intake or exhaust? I can't seem to find ANYTHING. I know not many people go with the 3.2 and the market for upgrades is tiny, but I was hoping to find something. I'm not interested in any forced induction. Thanks in advance.

You're pretty F'd with the 3.2L for engine mods. Anything you do find will be on the expensive side. All you need for an intake is an air filter. Most "cold air" intakes just suck in hot air from the engine bay.
Try a few of these-

The 3.2 is a pretty new design i would go to a muffler shop and have a custom exhaist built. A chip will only get you maybe 10hp

aye, i may make my own higher flow cold air intake out of fiberglass and get an exhaust made. still cant find a chip anywhere though.

I am told this exhaust will fit the B7 with the 3.2L V6:
http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=534&c=18 1. Does any one know if this will actually fit the 3.2? ecodetuning says it will fit...
2. What is the stock exhaust size on the 3.2L B7? 70mm (2-3/4") seems small to me...
3. Does anyone (with the 2.0T or 3.2) have this exhaust? Impressions?
Any thoughts appreciated...

Open hood, remove radiator cap, roll B7 S4 underneath, replace radiator cap.
Sorry, had to mess with you a little. Like the others said, there really isn't anything out there off-the-shelf that will make much difference (besides spray), but something may come along. Depending on your money situation, you might even ask a couple companies to use your car as a testbed to develop parts. I've seen that done before, and the person offering their car ended up getting to keep an example of the final product for free as a thank-you. Couldn't hurt to try.

To purchase an Audi without Quattro is like ordering a hamburger without the meat.

You have got to be kidding me....... 255hp stock is not bad at all. Are you making fun of the guy because he bought the nicest A4 Audi has to offer? Not everybody wants to buy the base model A4. He doesn't have many options for mods, but he has a nice A4. Like said above, Buying a FWD is like buying a burger without meat..........

FWD is not that useless or grose! FWD will take quattro anytime except thru turns. a fwd will take quattro in Highway races and launches.
