i just bought a 98 audi 2.8 q with 100,000 miles on it. i love the car drives great quattro is awesome in the rain and making sharp turns. has a little extra power to play with. wondering if any modifactions are available for the 2.8?? i also had a question about the timing belt. i was told it is a good idea to change it at 100,000 miles is this true because i don't want to ruin my car and im about to have it changed by my mechanic for $500
Thanks
Mike

The timing definitely should have been done by this mileage (most are done before 90K). Your $500 price is very good; it typically runs more thn twice that!
Search the archives on mods. The 2.8 has limitations. There aren't many mods available without dipping deep into your wallet.
Good luck.
