I've decided to piece together a custom exhaust.  I want something with nice deep growl but not lound and NO hightway drone.  I've listened to a bunch of clips no youtube bust still can't make up my mind.  I'll also be adding a ebay test pipe.  I just don't want this to sound like a punch high school kid's civic :)

I'm assuming I'll need two mufflers and two resonators...but I'm confused as to what exactly I'm looking for.  For example, when I go to summit's website there are an insane amount of magnaflow mufflers...what are all the differences?

I don't plan on going BT, just a 1+ so from what i've read I'll want 2.5->duel 2.25's.

A muffler will quite it down and a res will keep it from droaning on the HW.  If you need one or 2 will depend on how you run the pipes.  2.5 will flow enough and be quiter than a 2.75-3".  As long as you use a use a magnaflow or borla muffler, you will get the sound you are looking for

Would there be a benefit to running 1/2 resonators?  I'm assuming 2 will be a little quieter.

Looking at mufflers on summitracing and they have a TON, I'm guessing I'll want to go with the turbo variety like this:
