Arite so i bought a 98 audi a4 quattro 5 speed..the car looks good and all accesories still work and interior in good shape..but the car has 230,XXX miles on it and has been running really rough lately so ive been trying to sale it but NOBODY wants it...
im trying to sale it for 3500 (hoping) i can get 3000 out of it... but idk..
so should i just lower the price just to get rid of it before somethin major happens and i cant afford to fix...
or strip it to the bone and sale everything thats good? and can i benifit from this?
im hurting for money so i just dont want to let this car go to waste.. its all good just has high miles..
thanks...

you should be able to easily sell it for 3k
especially if you have maintenance records
where are you located?
good luck on the sale!
if it runs well, then don't bother parting it out....I would say use it as a trade in before you part it out

use it as a trade in, just needs a tune up maybe? do you have the maintenance record? how long have you had it?

EBAY it.
Other than running "rough" what else doesn't work? Does the suspension make noises? Why don't you trust it? What for motor is in it? Have you looked at the spark plugs or tried to do any maintainence yet?
I believe these cars will easily run into the 300K mile range if taken care of, possibly more. Of course with that kind of milage you're going to need to replace wear items, but that hold true for any car. A $3000 honda is going to need work done to it too, it just won't cost as much...
