Is there a way to disable the stupid warning screen in the navigation that comes up EVERY time you put in the key? anyone have any info? is there a better area to post this question in? I have a 07 A3 with nav plus bose.

Nope - it's built in to the firmware version that the US gets. But keep watching over here:
