Besides isn't the new RS6 going to have more than that? That will be interesting. A wagon with more HP then Audi's supercar???

I love Diesel power so much. and if the New RS6 has that much power, I will find a way to import one stateside. I would love to own a avant that rapes Ferrari's and Evo's all day long.

There was rumors about a year ago about a TDI powered TT, but i havent seen anything final on that.  I wouldnt mind a 300bhp with 350ftlbs TT with 40mpg

Keep in mind diesels are built for torque, not HP; I'm surprised they're only getting 768ft/lbs outa a V12 TT. My buddy's duramax is pushing 500hp with 1200ft/lbs, and thats a single turbo 6.6 V8.

just wait tell some tuners get ahold of that tdi. we could see some wild number but that comes with extreme prices

its due to diesels ability to boost extremely high compared to a gas engine.  Running 30-40psi will make a huge amount of tq if it peaks before 5k.  Making more power will require a larger turbo

I'm not so sure it's salivation, but something just happened alright.

The TDI TT is a for sure thing... Can't remember where I read it, but it's definitely going into production.

Speaking of TDI, I saw a Touraeg 2 V10 TDI roast all four tires today at a rest stop on 95 in Connecticut. Assloads of torque ftmfw!

Told the stealership that I wanted one if it was available before my Feb 09 delivery date.
