Just wondering if anyone else is having any similar issues to me;
as above, I have an Audi A4 Avant Special Edition 170bhp Diesel 07 plate. I have had it now for roughly 9 months and its been back to Audi 3 times as it tends to overboost going up a slightly incline in 5th or 6th gear, the result is the yellow coil light will come on and the car will trip into "limp home mode" and limit the revs etc, this is exceedingly frustrating when you are in the outside lane of a motorway and you then have to start making your way over to the hard shoulder to turn the ignition off and on again which clears the problem for the time being.
the first time they told me a turbo pipe looked like it had collapsed, then the second time they said they had replaced it but after a round trip of 700 miles for my holiday its overboosting still (but this time not going into limp home mode, just hitting some real flat spots between 2.5 - 3 k of revs when going up an incline..
Does anyone else have the same engine as me, are they experiencing the same things at all ? It might just be something I have to live with but its very annoying have a such a superb car which seems to let itself down now and again with this seemingly small problem.
any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
