S***Y WEEKEND

Well lets start at the beginning, i was finally moving from my 90cs to a A4. I finally got my dad to take me to the auction were i got my nice little red A4 2.8 quattro for only 3500. Anyways the next day were going to Michigan. Since were taking the minivan my dad decides to put his Bimmer and corrola in the garage leaving both my new A4 and 90 out in the open. the ride to Michigan sucked as well as the ride home, 2 brothers and one sister whing and pissing me off the whole way. we got home late on Sunday. i took a quick glance at my cars and didnt think much. the next day i step out hoping to take my new A4 to school and am shocked to see the front end hanging. I swear it looked like someone took a sledgehammer to it. The bumper was hanging and the left blinker was for the most part missing with only shattered parts over my driveway. And to top it off not only did i end up driving my 90 which i have no problem with but i dont know who the hell f***ed up my car and just to fix it up is costing me a crapload, and my dads making me get rid of it when i got it less than a week ago. WTF.

I hope you don't take this the rong way but, now I don't feel so alone. I got my A8 in Dec and it's been vandalized 4 times since. Haters. If they're heart were on fire I wudn't pi$$ down their throats to put it out!!! I'd like to rip their arm off and beat them with the wet end. They're all a waste of blood, IMO.

sorry to hear you're sharing in my pain. Was yours a hate crime? Why's ur dad bein a stick about it? Has it happened before, the vandalizm, I mean?

well if you picked it up for $3500 it probley wasn't the cleanest car to begin with so spend the exttra cash and fix it up man the suspension was probley ready to fall out anyways that price is just to low

I dont know if it was a hate crime but it might have been. As for my dad he never wanted me to get another college till i was out of school. my 90 was good and all but i wanted quattro and a manual tranny which my 90 didnt have. I really hope my dad dosent give me more crap about selling the A4, because he can til october when i turn 18, the title is still in his name. i was hopeing to buy and have him transfer the title to me. my still pissed but there nothin i can do but fix up my car. i got the bumber up but theres still a dent in the fender and the blinker is still missing.

no it was a clean car. although buying it at an auction wasent the best idea i dobut someone in chicago knows i live about 50 miles away. plus it had like 98k miles on it but i was considering a engine swap and some mods so didnt car much about the condition of the engine or suspension.

so if you are going to dump all this money into a motor swap ( just curious which motor were you going to swap into gthis and why ) why don't you look on the forums and find used stuff its all over the place

Now theres an idea. also i was planning to attempt to swap the v6 with a 1.8t. or even if i could(probably not) the new 2.0t fsi motors. but first i wanna just fix up the vandals damage and just enjoy driving it. thanks for the idea here though.

who would swap a 1.8T.the 1.8T is nice... but it's no where near worth an engine swap. 2.0T? good luck. you'll be doing an entire interior and electronics swap/modification as well

Thats why i said probably not the 2.0t. thatll come probably later on when i can save up enough for the a3, hopefully theyll bring the s3 too. but i always had a thing for turbos, i was actually looking for a 1.8t but couldnt find it with a manual tranny, so when the oppertunity came i took it and got the 2.8. its still a nice car though but if i had the 1.8t im pretty sure i could do some insane things with it.
